I worked as a stock person at Store 1 in the Women’s Shoe Dept. back in the late 1980’s. Erik was the buyer at the time. Mr. Bruce would often come by to see Erik. Mr. Bruce was always kind and very humble in his interactions with me and others in the department. Once I remember coming around the corner in the stock room to find him pounding away at the workbench fixing one of his wife Jeanies’ shoes. She helped out for the Anniversary sale in the Women’s Shoe Department and is also very kind. I felt very fortunate to have crossed paths with both of them. My deepest Condolences to the Nordstrom family.
