I had the honor of meeting Mr. Bruce in 2018 at the 40th anniversary celebration of the opening of South Coast Plaza. We spoke about many things, but what I remember most about our conversation is how relatable and kind Mr. Bruce was. He was so pleasant and easy to talk to. After we took this picture, he asked if he could have a copy to put in his wallet haha. His kindness and legacy will live on through all of the people that had the pleasure of meeting him. Mr. Bruce left it better than he found it.
