Mr. Bruce was our own office celebrity – always kind, funny, humble, engaging, and incredibly proud of his family. I have had the privilege of working in the executive offices (the row/green mile) for almost half of my career with a front row seat to view his fierce love and support of his sons. What a treat to have him come in weekly to meet the family on Monday for lunch at the Grill. Always punctual and delighted to have time with Blake, Pete, and Erik. When my co-worker Sharon Ovens and I found out from our respective bosses (Erik and Pete) their amazing father had passed. We pondered what would Mr. Bruce want. Despite sadness and tears we headed to the closest Nordstrom. In honor or Mr. Bruce, a shoe expert and “shoe dog” we bought shoes (and more)! He will be deeply missed by all.
