When I worked at Seattle Golf Club as a caddy, the assistant golf professional who got me the job (I went to a private school with his kids) took me to meet Mr. Nordstrom who was about to go out for a round. I found out later that my tuition at this school had been generously provided by Mr. Nordstrom because of my parent’s financial difficulties. Even when I was a college student working in the bagroom at the golf club, I was always glad to see Mr. Nordstrom come out for a round. He was always smiling and one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. Thank you Mr. Nordstrom, I will always remember you.
